I am sorry to say that I have experienced immense emotional trauma due to the Book of Revelation. The Book of Revelation is a complex and often misunderstood book, and it is not uncommon for individuals to struggle with its content, particularly at a young age just like I did.

The Book of Revelation is the final book of the New Testament and is written in the apocalyptic genre, meaning it contains visions of the end of the world and the second coming of Christ. It is filled with vivid imagery and symbolic language, which can be difficult for even the most seasoned biblical scholars to interpret.

For some individuals, the images and language of the Book of Revelation can be overwhelming and even frightening. As a child, the images of the four horsemen, the mark of the beast, and the lake of fire were particularly distressing for me especially as I grew up in the church. The book's portrayal of a final judgment and the end of the world can be terrifying, particularly for those who are already prone to anxiety or fear.

It is important to remember that the Book of Revelation is not meant to be read in isolation but rather in the context of the entire Bible and in my personal approach as an esoteric interpretation. Its purpose is to reveal 'Christ' and his ultimate victory over evil, and it is not intended to cause fear or trauma in its readers however, unfortunately, this is the view that many pastors and church constructs have taken throughout history.

If you continue to struggle with emotional trauma related to the Book of Revelation, it may be helpful to process your emotions honestly and I hope that this particular episode can provide guidance on how to interpret and understand the book's content in a way that is comforting and empowering. Remember that there is no shame in seeking help and support when dealing with difficult emotions or experiences.
